Kim’s Journey
Like many of you, I’ve struggled my whole life with my weight, and in my later years, hormone imbalances, chronic pain, anxiety, and brain fog. Some of these issues I’ve overcome, some are still a work in process, and some I’m still using myself as my own nutritional guinea pig to uncover the root source of the issue! What I have learned is we all need to be our own health advocate and when you learn about nutrition, wellness practices, and lifestyle changes do so with your critical thinking cap on. There are a lot of influencers out there with little to no education or background in nutrition telling you this one product/food/workout/meditation is the key to your wellness woes. Unfortunately, a one size fits all approach usually isn’t the answer; that is why I like to dig in and TEST not GUESS at what the underlying cause could be.
My approach:
GI Mapping: In-depth testing to identify underlying gut imbalances, including bacterial overgrowth, pathogens, and inflammation.
Food Sensitivity Testing: Pinpoint specific foods that may be causing inflammation, discomfort, or energy depletion.
Nutritional Support & Supplementation: Personalized nutrition plans and high-quality supplements to optimize your body’s natural healing process.
Coaching & Support: Ongoing coaching to guide you through lifestyle changes, improve mental clarity, and enhance overall well-being.
My Education:
RWS-1 practitioner: Restorative Wellness Solutions Level 1: Mastering the art of Gastrointestinal healing course. This program teaches practitioners how to deeply analyze and address digestive issues in clients through functional testing and customized healing protocols.
FNTP certification: Nutritional Therapy Association’s Functional Nutrition Therapy Practitioner certification; aka training program focused on using a holistic, bio-individual approach to nutrition to assess and address clients' health concerns through dietary and lifestyle modifications, aiming to achieve optimal wellness by identifying underlying root causes rather than just treating symptoms
RESTART® Program Instructor: I will guide you through a five-week program to reset your health and eating habits. This program includes nutrition fundamentals, a three-week sugar detox, and support in a safe, encouraging group environment. The goal is to empower YOU with the tools and knowledge needed for lasting, health-conscious lifestyle changes.
